How do you say NO to someone asking for money when you know they are quite desperate, but you don't want it to be your problem anymore?

I have faced this problem too. Just say I don't have any money, I have just put my all money into Fixed Deposits

say that you don't have money! you just pay your rent/bills and don't let any bodyelse know you still have some keep it private and as more often you say that you don't have money, they'll stop asking.

You say "No", break any eye contact or close proximity to the hobo, and go about your business. Bums in heavily populated cities make more than most middle-class workers meaning that your money is most definitely more well-spent than theirs. if it weren't, they would have an apartment and a job like the rest of us who don't take the easy way out. Stand your ground and know that you are part of the solution, not part of the problem!
