I had all 4 grandparents until I was 15. I was closest to maternal Grandpa, who loved playing with us, taught us songs and was never crabby. He also outlived all of the others.

This could get confusing... I had all four, but only because 2 of them were my stepdad's parents and he married my Mum when I was 3yrs old. The other 2 were my Mum's foster parents and they both were the two that I was closest to. My Mum's real Mum died when she was 18yrs old and her Dad is still alive, but none of us class him as our Grandfather as he's not a very nice guy.

2, my moms, mom. My dads, dad! My grandmother whom I called granny, was my biggest fan, in her eyes I could do no wrong!!!!!!!! She spent many, many hours with me, and later in my life she helped me grow up. I miss her dearly!

I had three that lived in Belgium and would come visit every 2-3 years. I was closest to my mom's mom. I didn't really care for my dad's parents.
