  • I think those 2 go hand in hand, why would it make sense to believe in the Creator, but not what He created? People do believe in God and Jesus but everyone can interpret the Bible or creation differently.
  • Liberal Protestantism, also called the mainline denominations. Usually the biggest old Protestant church in town. The big NEW Protestant churches, however, generally teach a six-day creation and that the Bible is without errors, so if that's what you want, go to a big OLD church.
  • I think god created the world just not in 7 days like the bible says.
  • To RossManChild and Roger Kovaciny I think you misunderstood the question. I don't think that LostxConfused was asking about the timeline of Creation but if it's possible to believe in God and Jesus but not the Bible or that God created this universe. Of course I may be wrong, and I did not down rate you. At least you tried to answer. For my answer, I don't see how one can believe in God/Jesus but not believe the Bible is His word or that God created this universe. I do hope that LostxConfused finds some answers to all their questions and is able to be at peace with their family/friends. God Bless, <:))))<><
  • The name of that religion is "Christian". While all Christians believe in the Bible, only Fundamentalists believe it's a divinely written book created by God to be without error, and to be followed word for word. Most Christians simply see the Old Testament to be the beliefs of the ancient Jewish tribes, and the New Testament to be the account of the life of Jesus as written by imperfect men. Also, while all Christians believe that God created the universe, only Fundamentalists believe that the Genesis myth happened literally as written. Most Christians acknowledge what science has discovered about the age of the universe and the world, and how life evolved. The simply think those natural processes were started by God.
  • I do not think so. Jesus and the Bible basically go together. You cannot really have one without the other. With love in Christ.
  • well since I believe that religiousity is an individual thing you can pretty well believe whatever you want.
