Have you ever seen the movie Shopgirl? Why do you think it was called that? (I mean aside from the obvious fact that the main character worked in a store)

I don't think much else can be read into it besides that. Martin is not known for his real deep titles of mocvies he is in, and despite the fact that Claire Danes did have some issues and problems, I think shop means shop = Los Angeles store. Plain and simple. Hope voting on what I thought was an obtuse question doesn't give me a negative rating!
