yes always!!!my worst was about $8,000 worth of jewelery.never did find it and have since moved.thank god the house is now ripped down so the new owner will never find it either. honestly believe it`s in the landfill and someone finds it in a hundred years..

Of course... Doesn't everyone? Also, there are things I find, when we go through stuff in the closets, that I say "I WONDERED where that went". Then it tends to go back into the closet, forgotten until next time we do it! LOL

I put my youngest daughter's passport in a safe place and now I can't find it.

Happens to me a lot. And after I spend days looking for it off and on I eventually go out and just buy another one if I really need to have it. And you know what happens five minutes after that......yep - it suddenly shows up.

Yes, and even after moving 3 times I have never found them again. In fact, I had the keys to my truck stashed somewhere safe for over 2 years before I found the keys (and they were the only set). I even had to have it towed to my new house when I moved... I didn't find the keys until I sold my other place and completely cleaned it out. Finally... I could sell the truck.

i actually stashed $210 in cash last week, so i wouldn't spend it that night when i went out. Now i can't find it and have absolutely no idea where i put it, no recollection of the actual stashing , except that it was somewhere that made me smile, like i was so clever... how does that happen?
