Only if you're unmarried. If you're married at 16, it's definitely within the bounds of "conventional" to have a baby then too.

It seems to be the norm, however, it will be extremely hard for you and your child. I dont think you want to do that to your baby, just because you want to be selfish, wait till you are are older and more mature, able to handle all the responsibilities of your own life, then see about having a child with soemone that you love, so that your child will have the best that you have to offer.

Whether you fit right into the mama drama or not, it still does not change the fact that it would cause your baby great suffering. A child cannot begin to hope to raise another child without parental or guardian support, which is in turn unfair to them, conventionality aside.
