The Time warp from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. And everyone should dress up like it too. I want people to look back, laugh and say 'thats the way we remember her, suspenders and all!'

Gideon or Dondante by My Morning Jacket.

--Thank you Earthangel, I know there are honest and good people out there and not all are bad, the ones to whom I am speaking know who they themselves are. For your honesty and generosity I bestow my + ratings upon you. Welcome to level 17, enjoy.
"Eleanor Rigby". It's fitting seeing as no one will be at my funeral except for my small family that I don't even like very much.
Bridge Over Troubled Waters by Simon and Garfunkel. In the 60's, one of my crazy relatives had requested that and they did it. At the TIME, it was considered very, very out there to have a pop song.
"bye, bye, bye" by nsync
I hate them but how funny would that be
Seven Bridges Road by the Eagles and
Don't Let me Down by the Beatles. Songs for my best friend, my husband, to remember me.
maybe moby's, "the sky is broken" yeah, probably that one. or "wild horses" by the rolling stones. maybe "i want a little sugar in my bowl" by nina simone.
I want "Amazing Grace" played by an Irish folk quartet.
Don't care about the actual song, but I want a New Orleans Jazz Funeral and a Mediterranean wailing woman.
Paint It Black...Rolling Stones...
Who wants to live forever...Queen
'Another one bites the dust' by Queen.
I can only imagine
I don't know who wrote it but always brings back memories of loved ones- and it totally sums up my life.
So Long, GOodbye and Knocking on Heavens Doors
I don't know the name of the song. I wish I did. I heard it at a black man's funeral in the deep South years ago. During the song, the whole congregation started marching in their seats. No one stood up, they all just started stomping their feet to the music in the rhythm of a really slow march & somehow the way everyone joined in, it just ripped your heart right out of your chest. Does anybody have any guess of what the song is??? I've been wanting to know for YEARS! It was probably a Baptist church.
I would want a music compilation handed out to everyone attending my funeral with the following tracks:
1) Flow by Transister
2) Simple Kind of Life by No Doubt
3) Reckless Girl by Absolute Begginerz
4) The Adventure by Angels and Airwaves
5) I'm with you by Avril Lavigne
6) Juicy by Notorious B.I.G.
7) The Scientist by Coldplay
8) Freedom '90 by George Michael
9) Just a thought by Gnarls Barkley
10)I'm only sleeping by The Vines
11)Canned Heat by Jamiroquai
12)Popular by Nada Surf
13)Ordinary Life by Kristen Barry
14)What I got by Sublime
15)Finlandia by Sibelius
16)Funeral March by Ludwig Van Beethoven
17)Kayleigh's Funeral by Michael Suby
Im thinking Free Bird would be pretty good. Or better yet Stairway to Heaven
Somewhere over the Rainbow by Judy Garland, cause that is where I will finally been if I do die
Daniel Lanois - Sonho Dourado
It played in Friday Night Lights when Permian lost. Real moving and inspiring instrumental song.
Do you realise - Flaming Lips... Great
amazing grace.for sure,
Angels by Robbie Williams. And then hectic rock music from the 70's, accompanied by much tequila and graffiti writing on my tombstone.
John Lennon, Dreamer
Umm probably "Soon and very soon we are going to see the king."
Either that or Battle hymmn of the republic. Maybe followed by some chanting of "Jesus remember me"
I would like "It Is Well With My Soul" played and to have everyone sing.
I would want two songs, Freebird, and Hear you me by Jimmy Eat world, to which i'll post the video. I have no idea who the girl in the video is, other than she lost someone close to her, but the song is beautiful.
Daniel, by Elton John, and/or Don't stop me now by Queen.
"Landslide", Stevie Nicks, and "Take It To the Limit", Eagles.
Christmas eve sarjevo- Transiberian Orchestra
This has always been my all time favorite song, so this is what I want played.

I've already planned my funeral; it'll be the social event of the year, honestly! I'm planning to have a rehearsal, so that I can watch it, because hopefully on the real thing I'll be dead :)
Just a few of the songs I plan to have are the theme tune from Countdown, and the song with the lyrics 'I'm an urban space man baby...'- to which everyone will get up and dance.
There was a poll and as far as I can tell the worlds most popular song to be played at funerals is "Goodbye my Lover" by James Blunt. Second place was Katharine McPhee & Taylor Hicks with "I've Had The Time of My Life"
I'm not planning to die any time soon so I would want something that would get people to second guess by untimely demise, just in case, something like "Alive" by Pearl Jam or "I Just Want to Live" by Good Charlotte.
Breakfast by Newsboys.
David Gray- 'The Other Side'. I posted a video, because I think that song would sound great for a funeral, and I want you to hear it. A very calming song.
"Bodies" by the Sex Pistols
I'd go with something simple.
Row, row, row your boat,
Gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.
I'd explain but there are many reasons for the choice.
the flame by cheap trick.
Nobody's Child by Maria McGee and Here Comes the Sun by George Harrison and Daydream Believer by the Monkees
The End by The Beatles. Great ending to one of the best albums ever, Abbey Road
Queen- Don't stop me now
I think this is the one. Skip the half a minute intro.
Thriller -Michael Jackson
And everyone would have to dress the theme
This one for sure!
"Spirit In The Sky" by Norman Greenbaum...Love that song!
forget me not - lucie silvas - sooo many people would cry !!!!!!
I could say good old Frank's "I did it my way" but that is one of the most popular songs (at least here in the UK).
I would want a secular funeral (no churches or grave yards for me!), so maybe for irony "Highway to Hell", or "Sympathy for the Devil". That would raise some eyebrows!
I would like them to play
At your funeral-Saves the Day
hear you me by jimmy eat world..it's a really sad song....
Feeling Good by Nina Simone becasue I love that song Or Higher and Higher by Jackie Wilson because it's a funky tune and you just can't help dance to it - I don't want people to be sad at my funeral - I would want them all to come in their pajamas.
JOHN DENVER: CALIPSO
