I was thinking Arizona, but the last time I was there it seemed that condos were being built everywhere. I can't afford to stay in Connecticut, too expensive here. I would need to find a warmer climate and maybe a state that doesn't have a state income tax. Doing whatever the heck I like :-) Senior sports, photography, attending baseball games...

I'd like to spend my retirement right here where I am doing whatever I felt like on any given day. Just the fact that I wouldn't have to go to work on days that I felt sick but knew I couldn't call in will be wonderful. Also, the idea that I could get things done at home the way that I would really like them done appeals to me big time. I look forward to retirement. Some say that they would get bored but not me. I'd be able to smell the roses more often and visit friends and family more often. Hey, if I wanted to, I could jump in the car anytime that I wanted and take an impromtu trip. Hopefully, I'll be in good health when my retirement finally comes!

Living in Japan with my son, my Japanese daughter in law and my 1/2 Japanese grandbabies... None of which I actually have yet except for the Sons. Obviously... This is my plan for them. They find it rather amusing and think im a bit obsessed.

A six month road trip in a mini Winnie followed by a laid back life in a cabin on a lake.

I wouldn't mind spending it right here in this home and I hope I do. I can't think of a more pretty place and pleasant home to live in.
