Can I use Q-Tips and rubbing alcohol to clean a digital camera lens?

You can, but I'd look for a soft cloth (microfiber of some kind) and a specific lense cleaning substance. I'd check out an eye doctor. They should be able to give you everything you need

No!!!! do not use any alchol base on video camera lenses, this will strip the fine layer coating that prevents lens flares. Best: the baby snot sucker, (New one), this will get most of your easy dust off the lens. Tough stuff: use a moist chamoi, and distilled water

DO NOT USE ALCOHOL! use windex... if u use alcohol u are skrewed. you can use the same type of cloth you would use for your glasses but plzzzz dont use anything with alch...

I'm unsure sounds like my remedy,I use alcohol to clean cd players,and Cds.
