The world is a made up of much smaller groups than we would believe. Here and there spotted across the world are some that are similar in one way or another. So there goes the whole "I am an individual." theory. We are all human and that's all that counts, as much as some of us have in common it's a shame we all don't get along more.

On AB we meet people through their ideas, thoughts and interests and can easily gravitate toward those who we have so much in common with. In the "real world" we are often put off by persons whose appearance is different from our own - they dress in a different manner, their age may be a barrier, they appear to be of a different economic class, or may have mannerisms or attitudes that make them seem unapproachable. Those perceived differences may keep us from getting to know the things that truly matter and that we may have in common.
