Can you touch your ceiling without going on your tippy toes or using a stool or something else to accomplish this feat?

Not in the normal 8' ceilings, only the lower basement ceilings.

Not even close. The ceiling is either 10 feet or 12 feet high!

I can't touch the ceiling in the livingroom, it's over 10ft, but in the kitchen I come close. But I don't need too my husband is 6'5' and he can reach it standing flat with out even trying. Ceiling fans are a no no at my house.
