I stood up for my friend in grade school that was always being picked on by other people. He could stand up for himself, but I believe I helped him out some. He had a lot of confidence yet was still treated badly. I think anytime you stand of for someone who is not liked it shows courage and kindness.

I helped my friend in math because he was struggling so much. I'm pretty good at math so I gave him so free tutoring for like 2 hours. He got a 98% A+. He liked offered to pay me $50 but I just said, "That's what friends do!"

I have just been myself and tried to support others in their quests in life. Sometimes a little money, advice, a place to stay, a few meals, someone that listens. That does not seem very noteworthy. I'd like to think my most noble days are before me.

Cried with them when they lost someone special (to death) and told him over and over that it was OK for a guy (or anyone) to cry as much as they needed/wanted/felt like.

Offered them unconditional love.

In middle school there was a kid who got constantly picked on, and really didn't deserve it. He just seemed like a good person. He was also not very wealthy. Before Christmas one year, I convinced my Mom to anonymously give his family money (ended up being $400). He lived with only his mom, and she was a proud person, but eventually accepted the money (we did it anonymously through the school). I think this is the first time I've told anyone this. I still see him around town every once in a while.

Held them and told them it wouldn't hurt anymore, and I promised I wouldn't let them hurt them anymore. And I kept the promise too

There was a boy in school that had the HUGEST crush on me. He was kinda dorky and everybody picked on him, but I still hung out wiht him because he made me laugh alot. Then one year at prom I saw him sitting at the table all alone and nobody wanted to dance with him. When the last slow dance song came on, he was about to give up and started putting on his jacket, getting ready to leave. I ran over to him, and took his jacket back off. He was like "What are you doing?" "Dance with me" I told him and he looked so happy he could cry. And of course, people stared, whispered and laughed, but I was so happy to make his day I didn't care.
