Why is there so much hate towards fat people on these questions.. Why cant you just accept people for waht they are? Its so sad :(

I thought AB was a place that it didn't matter who you were or what you look like. But I found out that even AB has people that judges people's weight. I quess it is just something you can't let get to you. I don't like the hate and remarks about fat people either. But Everyone is entitled to their own opinions.:(

Because "size-ism" is the last socially acceptable bigotry. It's the only kind of prejudice that has no politically correct terminology, nor is it addressed in sensitivity training.

people assume that fat people are that way because they are lazy and don't take care of themselves. they don't look at it as possible reasons for them being fat. 1 medication 2. health problems (thyroid) 3. poor people can't afford to buy healthy food. it's too expensive 4. if you are disabled or elderly you have problems which prevent you from getting the proper excercise. It makes me sick when someone focuses on "outward' instead of inward. These are usually the shallow people who run from relationship to relationship to relationship because "she got fat" or "she's losing her teeth" or she's not pretty anymore". these are the people who are missing out on relationships with beautiful people (inside) due to their shallowness and in the end they are the losers.
