I bought a used XBOX 360 but can't do anything because I don't know the parental control password. How do I reset the password?

Go back to whoever you bought it from and get them to turn off the parental control. if they forgot then just try different combo buttons of your controller. It shouldn't take long to get it right cuz there isn't many buttons that can be used.

Hi nathan, I googled a bit and found this, I hope it helps: HACK: Parental Control Unlocking -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One of your friends set your parental control on your xbox to "G" and now you can't watch Basic Instinct for the 135th time? Locked out of Halo just when you were gonna beat "The Maw" on Legendary? With this non-unique parental override code you can reset the parental control to it's previous default of disabled. If you have a lock on your parental settings lower than you'd like: Go to Settings Highlight Parental Control When the screen pops up that says Enter Pass Code press: X, Y, Left Trigger, X You'll be taken to the parental controls screen where you can disable the passcode previously entered.
