I have a VCR/DVD combo. The VCR works fine but the DVD only has audio with a black screen. I checked the connections and they seem to be fine.

    Can you be more specific about the settings? It's my son's and I do have concerns that he might have changed something.

    If you are sure that your connections are fine, and all of your settings on the unit are correct, then there is an internal problem with your unit. Depending on your expertise in soldering, you may or may not want to attempt to repair any connections between system components. If your system is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer and have them repair or replace it.
