I'm not a parent, I'm an aunt, but three things I love about being one are 1. Watching her when she figures out a new word or how to operate something. 2. When she tries to make us laugh. 3. Knowing that there is someone out there that has absolute trust in me and thinks of me as the one who can fix whatever might be wrong.

Due to the fact I DON'T and WON'T "spoil" my children or any of my nephews, nieces or grandchildren AND EVERY ONE OF THEM KNOWS it: 1) Being able to say, "No" and not feel guilty. Why? Because everyone else says, "Yes". 2) The way they do their best - consciously or sub-consciously to make me laugh. 3) Knowing I'm there for them - in almost every way. 4) I tell each of them, I love you." AND each of them reciprocates! Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it! VTY, Ron Berue Yes, that is my real last name! Sources: Because you asked.
