  • Not really. I usually don't even taste the first one because it goes down so quickly. However, non-malt beer (happoshu in Japan) actually sucks.
  • It could............Some have a real high content of alcohol but if you offered after a hard day out in the 100 degree sun.........I wouldn't refuse.
  • Yes it matters. For me, it has to be a light beer or a pale ale after a hard day of work. I can't do a day of outside work and then drink a Guinness or another dark or heavy beer. It's not satisfying. A Sam Adams, SA Light, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale or a Sweetwater 420 is refreshing. I had an Edison a while back. That was good stuff.
  • Yes. I don't tend to drink mass produced, flavorless beers. And if you drink a beer in a frosty mug, you are killing it's flavor. I'm a big fan of craft beers. On a hot day, I might enjoy a pilsnor or hefeweisen.
  • It definitely matters. Any beer is great after a hard thirsty day, but the right beer makes all the difference. Yum.
