  • A true perfectionist would see what a shortcoming that is and get it fixed! If you realize that, the whole game is up. :)
  • Start with minos things like putting a cushion ever so slightly out of place and leave it like that. No adjusting it allowed. If you manage that go a bit farther. If you can't manage that seek psychiatric help because perfectionists are more likely to develope disorders like anorexia.
  • You can't. You never were a perfectionist, for nothing you have ever done is truly perfect. Striving for perfection can be vain, though it is not always. Let imperfections be a challenge and not a pet peeve.

  • dont let the little things get to you, get some help from a friend or relative (or boy/girl friend) to mess something up and practice restraining yourself. Have a friend come up with some creative activity's to help practice your restraint.
  • Drink alcohol. Plenty. Alcohol makes miracles. My 2 cents.
