How do use the different people in dragonball gt transformation?

You have to go through story mode to get points. Those points are used to buy things in the shop. Each character has a different price. Super Baby Vegeta being the mostpoints needed. After you buy them you can use them in Free play story mode and also in the mini games. Hope this helps!!
