Have you ever accidentally pressed something on the keyboard, then the computer just shut off? It has happened to me.

My cat has. I think she knew exactly what she was doing too.

That tends to happen when I have about a million tabs open and I'm halfway through an email I'll never be able to recreate. Computers are brilliant.

If I haven't, my cat has. And if I haven't actually shut it down, I've opened or closed something by mistake. I've also kicked the powerstrip under the desk and knocked the power out.

I haven't caused anything that drastic but I have accidentally closed a browse window. Thanks to Stormy I found out that Alt + F4 will close a window because she has "To view my display picture, hold down 'Alt' + 'F4' " in her avatar! Dork that I am, I tried it and that's how I found out. :p Did you ever find out what key you pressed to cause that? It sure would be nice to know so that we could avoid pressing it.
