This is their excuse for subverting the constitution..to control us, invade our privacy, keep us scared. They don't know any better..the fact that our congress has rolled over and played dead is very sad..very scary. Those who know better are spineless. Those who think they're doing the right thing are insane. We are caught in the middle, as usual, impotent to do anything about it..except, maybe, make better choices at the polls. Are we going to screw it up again, or do you think this time we'll get it right? :(

I think people often expect "privacy" in public situations. If I'm in a public place why should I expect privacy and complain about the use of security cameras? If I'm using my phone (cell or home) I should expect privacy unless I'm under investigation and the court has deemed it necessary for my phone to be tapped. I can think of benefits for lack of privacy and can't think of anything I'm doing outside of my own home that would warrant an expectation of privacy. I live under a "who cares" attitude when I think of someone watching me.

I dont accept it. I hate it, I know what the reason is and I would (if i had any power to control it) fight it and reject it. Sadly i do think that privacy is more and more becoming a luxury than a right... it sickens me.
