You can certainly like them sexually.

I'm not sure this is what you are looking for, but, I will always love my children, but there are days when I don't like them very much, because of their misbehaving.
-
Like? Heck, I married her! Agreement isn't a prerequisite to 'liking' a person, though that certainly makes it easier to start out with.

i don't understand what else there would be to truly like about someone if you don't like what they say or do?....
-
No, not unless their family, then you actually Love them in spite of the stupid, careless, selfish, and crazed lifestyle...oh sorry...

I can like a person for what I see in other aspects because I do not think that what you do defines who you are, and what you say is what you think. There are always redeming characteristics and we can not forget that people change all the time(supposely for the better). Anyway, it would be pretty boring to befriend only people that you like in every aspect... no challenges, no learning experience...It would be to like only carbon copies of yourself.

Yes I can. We, humans, do not have to think or feel the same to be able to become friends. We all have different opinions/ ideas, don't we? Loving someone is beyond this point, Not all of us are patient enough to deal with differences and that is sad..Changing someone? That's I wouldnt do.

Fact from diction, truth from diction. I have friends who have done things I would not do, don't like, and won't do, ie getting drunk, doing drugs, having abortions, being Republican or a Bushbot. Most of the time I don't hold it against them as a deal breaker friend wise (well maybe abortion.........) because it might be boring tohave friends that were totally like me. Then again, I would always have someone to do the things I like such as chess and scrabble and know they do it because they like it not because they are trying to do what I like.
