Why not just accept her the way she is and stop being such a pest? In my defense I do have friends.

if she isnt comfortable in making new friends forcing her and seeing her as a social cripple is not going to help. not everybody needs a large circle of friends around them and prefer to have a small trustworthy circle and are happier this way. if it is effecting your social life take up a hobby and meet people on your own.

Maybe she doesn't want to. Some people are happy with a couple of people they deeply relate to in life, rather than having a multitude of superficial, unfullfilling relationships. You're attitude is a little messed up. Loving someone is about accepting who they are, not who you think they could be if you tweek them a bit. If you don't think you can do this break up with her immediately. Or I promise you, you're than one that will cripple her.

You can't make her have friends. When and if she is ever ready she will do it on her own. Just support her and be there for her.

let her read this!!!!!!!!! well hun u have to just put urself out there, look.....i was the same way, i am about 250 pounds right..... i dont look that big but i am, and i know i am, and it makes me kind of embarrassed right? but u have to put aside ur i guess disabilities? and just throw urself out there.... if i c someone in a resturaunt im constantly talking from "hey dude i love that sure!" to "damn girl i love that color on u" and people will see how socially active u r, and people like and r attracted to that, and will come over and talk tou ,,,,,, i got 5 numbers last night at a resturaunt....u just gotta put urself out there and if u like somthing some one has, let it b known, if someone looks good, let em kno........u kno what happened last nite. i was at the resturaunt and a guy passed.... i said "wow ur hair is sooo cool" he said "thnks, want a drink" that one number next number a guy came over and said "hey ur really talkative, thats cute" we got talking 2nd number next one a girl was walking by and i said "omg i have them same shoes!" and she said"o i got mine from the mall....sooo espensive, were did u get urs" 3rd number then the other 2 people were waiters........u gota just put urself out there friends come sooooooo easy..just go at it, believe me!
