I say it would help his fight against obama. Obama is an staunch friend of the arabs, and beneath his christian facade, he is anti-semitic. He once had it out with Joe Lieberman in the house I believe. Joe is a Jew, and that factor would make the bipartisan contrast greater.

good old two face joe, at least he would finally come out as a republican... I guess he doesnt appreciate all that help that Obama gave him when he was running as an independant.. im sure Obama regrets that now... JOES GOTTA GO!!!

Lieberman is a pretty good guy. The Jane Fomda democrats hated him cuz he told to many truths.

Lieberman and McCain??? Really? That's like Laural and Hardy running the place, no, they'd do it better. These are my thoughts and my opinions, that was the question. That is my answer:)

As a pretty conservative guy I think I like Lieberman better than McCain overall on the principle that I think he is a pretty honest guy if nothing else. I don't think he would hurt McCain's campaign, but wouldn't help McCain draw the more conservative voters that think he is too centerist. He may do better with a more conservative VP candidate.

I think I'd enjoy that. The overwhelming majority of Democrats are completely ticked off at LIE-berman, and I don't think he has that much support amongst Republicans either. . Plus it would be amusing to watch him going around kissing McCain's kiester and constantly correcting Grampy McSame during his (daily? hourly?) pronouncements of his delusions as fact: -"(Shiite) Iran is training and equipping (Sunni) Al Qaeada" -"We need a missile defense system in Czechoslovakia" -"The surge started almost a year before the surge was announced" etc., etc.

Not a good choice although Lieberman is a great senator but, he will not pull in enough votes. You will see Lieberman in a cabinet position. Romney will be the choice IMO.
