I don't even try . On the RARE occasions that I am pulled over,I'm always courteous & polite and I figure either they'll write me up or they won't. I don't sweat it either way.When I was younger , I'd totally stress over something like that. At my age , I now realize it's just not the end of the world . Worst case scenario, that's what attorneys are for. ;-)

Being exceedingly polite, addressing the officer as "sir" and being humbly remorseful. That's worked for me! :)

I dont try to talk my way out of it, I have never gotten a ticket, I usually joke with them.

By the cop who was issuing it? Only once. I am 15 out of 25 in court, though. Yes. I am a bad driver.
