Does wii play cds, dvds, music and does it work with an apple ipod or mp3 player?

It does none of those things unfortunatly! Nintendo have kept their console rather closed in that department. However you can put in SD cards and playback photographs. But in terms of Dvd's and Cd's, no dice. Hope this helps :D

It does help! thanks a lot. My friend said it did those things and i didn't wanna break mine since its still new. wish it did tho cause that would be pretty cool being able to input some of your own music into the games or play some of your music while you play your games. i would just turn on a stereo or put in a cd but then my parents would complain because its like eating at a best buy or some other electronic store because of unrelated sight and sound.
