  • You may want to check what the statutory rape laws are in your state before you try to do anything legally. In some states if a boy is over 18 and the girl is under 18 it is considered statutory rape no matter the circumstances. So check that out via the internet BEFORE you do anything. And then check out the laws for your state.
  • 1st..... he could get convicted of statutory rape. 2nd..... It depends on what state you live in.... I think most states (even with parents consent, you have to be 17.) 3rd..... As I eluded to, as long as you're a minor, your parents will have to consent to ANY decision you want to make that minors can't normally make on their own. 4th..... If that is allowed, then yes, you could raise a baby in your own home, but is that something you can afford? The government is not just going to GIVE you a house. There are HUGE waiting lists for government housing, sometimes up to several years long.
  • well my boyfriend is in the military right now, but he is coming home for good in a couple of weeks. then he has a really good paying job lined up for when he comes home. so he will be making enough money to support all of us. then when I get out of school im going to get a job when i can after the baby is born and we are settled in. And how do I check the statutory laws in my state??
  • ok ummm, i checked the laws and he won't get charged with anything but now I don't know how to check how old i have to be. I tried google but I don't know what to type in to get what I need.
