According to the Bible, God does get angry. Anger itself is not a sin, however, it is possible to sin in your anger, like if you decided to hurt or kill somebody.
-
Ephesians 4:26 says "be angry, and yet do not sin" (NASB). The concept of "Seven Deadly Sins" does not explicitly appear in the Bible - which condemns all sin. There are several Bible passages where God is described as angry, or promises to be angry if the people rebel and/or disobey.

I don't believe that God gets angry. Why do we have bad things happen. Because in order to learn what good is we have to understand what bad is.
-
Jesus became angry when a temple was misused. He was sinless, so anger cannot be a sin. i believe God can get angry. the sin is acting on the anger in a harmful way.

According to Christian teachings... I think the sin you're thinking of is technically known as "Wrath". And yes, tales of "God's Wrath" abound in the Bible. For just a few examples, see: Romans 1:17-19 Job 20:27-29 (Virtually the whole book of Job, in fact) Isaiah 10:4-6 There are literally oodles more Biblical verses expressly stating that God is in fact extremely wrathful, and therefor does violate the most basic rules God laid down for mankind. God has carried out torment, murder and even genocide in the name of wrath. Of course, the typical Christian will tell you something along the lines of "God is inherently sinless, and so His wrath is not sinful..." Personally though, I disagree.

anger is not a sin period. GOD CAN NOT SIN. God got angery and acted on this anger and killed all except Noah and the animals he took.
-
Didn't that particular god get all relaxed and 'hey free love' after the events of the Evangelion? I go with the Gnostics on this question.
-
Well... envy is also a sin, and the bible mentions god being 'jealous'. :P
-
That's the god man created.
-
No... Jesus got angry. God is just jealous.
-
Read Isaiah 63:3-6 and tell me if He is angry or not at the sinner. That is to come to.
-
There are kinds of anger that are not sinful. Anger at injustice, for example, is a good thing. It's when anger leads us to sin that it becomes deadly. Deadly for us. But since God cannot sin, it's not an issue for Him.

I (think) evil is an abuse of power....isn't that why the devil got kicked out of Heaven. Where is the Kingdom of Heaven...I think I want to go there. Somewhere outside of me or within. Have to believe there's Love with-in us. Where there is light there can be no darkness. Light doesn't cling to things it gives away Love it has no end. So I think I want to give away love. I'm not here for arguing I do get mad though. Why can't we be good to one another if there's light inside us isn't that an insult to God, when we do harmful things. So many troubles in the world we think the world belongs to us. Wouldn't it be better to belong to something, a part of God instead of being separated from this magnificent, gracious beauty. I think that when we hurt one another in any way this is a sin. The image of God I see is pure Love. I wish we could be better representative of this. I believe the world could be a paradise. I think if I start crying it would be like a flood. God. You are Love. We need you. <3

Wrath is different then a just anger. Just anger comes from a passion to set things right.

Yes. And we should not base ourselves in Catholic doctrine but what the Bible says. And yes it might be one of the "Seven Deadly Sins." But the truth is that it is not a sin depending the reason.
