  • That might be normal. It takes some people a long while to grieve the passing of a loved one. (especially one as close as a mother) Both of my grandparents died this past month only a week apart. It's still taking me some time to get over it, but I catch my mother crying sometimes at night, it bugs me to see her that way but what can I do, it doesn't hurt to cry and she needs to let it out. I think if YOU feel its "weird" or taking too long to get over your loss, you should see a therapist or some sort of counselor, to help you feel better. Good luck & I'm sure you'll be alright! +2pts
  • Absolutely not...you are grieving in your own unique way. She has been gone such a short time and you obviously miss her terribly. Do what you are doing now for as long as you need to..... It gets easier, believe it or not....but you are changed forever. I like the thought of you hugging the pillow and having her photo near. As a mother and grandmother...that gives me a warm fuzzy feeling....good for you. She'd be proud, I'm sure.
