Don't know about government involvement, but I have seen a video of the building owner, Larry Silverstein, admitting that the WTC7 building was "pulled", meaning intentionally destroyed by controlled demolition. http://www.wtc7.net/pullit.html

There are many conspiracy theories about 9/11. But personally, I do not believe it was an accident, and yes I think that our government knew it was going to happen. I don't know if they are the ones who pulled the tirgger themselves, but who knows. All I know, is that there was a reason why there were a lot of government organizations that lost a lot of funding before the attack, when they knew there was a threat. But there really isn't any point to debating this, because if someone could actually prove that our country was involved, those people would disapear rather fast :(.

I have not seen the video yet. Yes. The plans for the event were drafted back in the late 70's. My 2 cents.
