It's a sad fact that we need immigrant labor to harvest our crops because Americans simply won't do it for the money being offered.

It is true, Americans simply will not do it. We are to spoiled. Immigrants will work for less than minimum wage in most cases and most live well below our standards of living. What american do you know that would be willing to work their ass off out in a field picking strawberries for 10 hrs a day for 80$? Thats 400 a week. I don't even know anybody that could live off of that alone.
