ALL government leaders, from the beginning of government, have had their hands full of problems. That is nothing new. Our problems seem huge, monumental, even dire because they are OUR problems. But that is true of every generation. As for worldwide government failures, I think we are far from that. That is a sensationalized ploy to play on peoples fears. Yes, we are going through a phase and will continue to experience strain in global governance. And yes, we are facing frightening times ahead. But a systematic global failure? Nope. Not any time soon.
