Help answer this question below.

Guys, if your wife/girlfriend begged you for a certain piece of jewelry and you bought it for her even though it cost you alot, would you be upset if she wore it only about 2 or 3 times and then just put it in her jewelry box and let it sit there?

Maybe she no longer likes it or she's waiting for you to buy her more things.

Queen Elizabeth has many pieces that she just wears on certain occasions--maybe just once or twice in her lifetime.

The Queen is the ONLY woman I've ever heard of who does that.
(Princess Diana wore the same jewels many times).

- okay--I think she no longer cares about those pearls.
  I have several strands that I totally enjoy to death.
  She may just want something new to wear a few times, etc.

I think it's totally rediculous for you to be upset with her over something so petty. Ok I will agree to a point that she could have been a little more appreciateve of the fact you finally got her what she wanted however there are far greater things to be upset over than your wife not showing enough appreciation for spendiong all that money on what she wanted.

Man's man I hope you never have to go through the heartbreak and pain of losing the one you love in your lifetime because let me tell you it is hell. I would give all that I own in this world just to have one more day with my beloved late fiancee. To hold her in my arms to love her to kiss her lips.

You don't know how lucky you are to have a wife to love you even if she is not always appreciative of the things you do for her. Be greatful for that.

Don't think because you are both fairly young yet that she can't be taken away from you in the blink of an eye. Youth does not gurantee we will live forever. My sweetheart was only 28 when she was murdered so death does not discriminate based on age.

Sorry for rambling like that but sometimes we need to be reminded of how we should be greatful for the person we have in our lives instead of worrying about such petty things as their not showing enough appreciation for what we do for them.

- Yeah man, I hear ya. But me personally, it wouldn't really matter to me. I would get it for her to make her happy. If it makes her happy to store it in a box in the basement I'm cool with that. I gave it to her, she can do what she wants with it, it's hers now. She could chuck it in the ocean if she really felt the need. But I can see your point of view too. =)

Ok, why would a women beg for a piece of jewelry? I just find that odd now days, I mean if I want somthing Im going to buy it...If I didnt have money I may bring it up; but deff not beg for it... Anyway, I could see why a guy would be mad had a women actually beged for it and didnt wear it much....unless she was saving it for a special night or somthing....

Yes I would. If it meant that much that she begged for an expensive piece I would think she would wear it more.
At our age, we don't go many places she could wear it anymore.

It's irrational, but maybe she's scared to wear it in case she loses it? I have a piece of jewellry like that. Love it but never wear it in case it breaks. just a thought. I'm a woman, by the way.
