  • If you're looking for cooler pants, I'd look for pants made of "wicking" material rather than nylon. Wicking material, like Coolmax, draws sweat away from you, thereby keeping you cooler. Most higher end sporting good stores will carry them, brands like Northface or Columbia. I use them when hiking and they work great, but they aren't cheap.
  • In addition to what Kazzzy said about getting something like a workout pant or athletic pant that is made of a wicking material, I recommend a cotton canvas twill pant (like "work" pants or khakis).
  • i would definitely recommend you would get several pairs of the unlined nylon pants. they lined ones can get hot. the unlined ones are super light and nylon feels nice and smooth and great against skin. they are not hot and are really easy to move around in (not stiff like jeans).
  • Buy them at any sports store, just tell them you prefer the unlined style and they can help you find one. If they don't have them just find a nice soft pair and cut out the liner. Ebay has lots for cheap too. Let me know if you like wearing them!
  • I just converted from jeans. Man I wish I had discovered how nice windpants are years ago. Gotta be unlined though. I've been telling my buddies about it and they are switching over now too. We all agree that the nylon just feels really nice and smooth compared to anything else, and we aren't that trendy so we don't care.
