I would ask her..."Oh...um. Right. Is that all?"
-
Tell she's a greedy bitch if she drank it if the baby was the one that needed the milk.
-
Give her powdered baby milk, thats not too tasty...!!!
-
Say "thats £1.55 for the milk, Anything else?"
-
"I sure hope you're breastfeeding that kid."
-
I'd ask if she'd like some more and also offer her some for the baby :)
-
I would make out with her.. and have some fun ...
-
i'd be like... "was that warm enough for ya? why is your baby crying?"
-
go back to bed telling myself that we live in a crazy world :)
-
I'd take the baby as a gift of my generousity
-
Shut the door and go back to bed.

If someone starts banging on my door at 2:00 a.m. my house better be on fire because if someone does this for any other reason, they might be staring down at the end of something quite serious.
-
Call the police for further investigation. I can understand the woman up at 2 a.m. with her baby, but not knocking on someones door, with her baby in her arms. This is not normal. The milk situation further supports the need for the police.

1) We don't keep milk in our house. 2) Depending on the age of the baby, I would tell her that infants can not have cows milk. 3) Give her some information on breastfeeding - the milk store that is always open. 4) To be fair, she never said the baby needed the milk. So, I couldn't hold it against her for drinking it. I would likely invite her in and try to figure out what the heck sis going on. Probably call our neighbor the nurse for help.
-
Ask her if everything was ok. Then, depending on her body language and how she reacted to the baby crying, I would possibly get authorities involved. (But, the main question here is... how did my neighbor have a baby when she is in her 70s???)
-
Take the baby, hold it, kick her down the steps. Wait, do you mean something that won't result in my arrest? I'd probably take my glass back and suggest she learn what a store is.

Thank you all for your answers. This really did happen to me. And I assumed the milk was for her baby before I gave it to her. When I handed her the cup of milk the baby was crying and holding an empty bottle. This baby does drink whole milk, and I just could not believe when she actually drunk the milk!!! Just wondered what people would have said in that position. Personally, I was disgusted that she did not give her baby the milk. I can't believe she banged on my door at 3 in the morning for HER to have a cup of milk.

Go back to bed. Hah.
-
Say good night and go back to sleep.
-
Ask her if she'd like some more.
-
Pity on her. She might not have enough milk to breastfeed her baby. Say good night and continue your sleep.
-
Take the kid off her hands, let her get a nights rest. Obviously the lady needs a break.
-
Delight in the fact that the milk expired... in october.
-
Close the door and go back to sleep.

A mother who doesn't have milk in her fridge is one who needs some re-evaluating. What is wrong with people these days?
