  • Muslim's what? What thing belonging to a Muslim? Oh, did you mean MUSLIMS? Yes, of course they do.
  • Yes, Muslims adopt children like people of many other faiths. In Islam, caring for orphans is especially stressed because the Prophet himself (peace be upon him) was an orphan. However, Islam teaches that the child must keep their biological surname and know of their dual heritage.
  • Yes, the Prophet had an adopted son. But, adopted children must not be denied their true identity and they DO NOT become Mahrims as some people very strangely assume. Marriages forbidden between close biological relatives are NOT forbidden to someone related in the same way by adoption. For example, biologically related brothers and sisters are forever forbidden to marry each other irrespective of whether or not they ever grew up together. This can happen in religions which allow sperm/egg donations. Brother and sister by adoption are totally free to marry each other unless they've had a common wet nurse. The Mahrim ruling can make adoption a little bit harder as hijab has to be maintained even within the family whenever the adoptee is around.
  • Yes Muslims do adopt children..its not forbidden in Islam..but you cant give your own name to the child that you've adopted..because in the end he is not your biologically produced kid..!
  • Yes, Muslims can (and do) adopt children. Adopting an orphan is one of the greater good deeds that a Muslim can do, according to Islam.
  • Yes, Sure Muslims adopt children. But the adopted children may not have the share in the wealth left after death of the parents who adopt them.
  • wrong....muslims are not allowed to adopt children..they are only allowed to foster children..adoption is haraam.people this stuff is easy enough to find out..do not believe these people
  • Generally adoption is not allowed. And by adoption I mean to change the kid's name and history, and convince him that those are his true parents. However, raising orphans is highly desirable in Islam. In the western countries, where laws obliges the foster parents to change the adopted kid's name, Muslims should follow the rules of the hosting countries. But should also make it clear the kid that the foster parent's are not his real parents.
  • no they can not inherit..please provide quranic verse or hadith that says they can inherit.as far as marriage problems, that is not a valid argument because in islam fostered children keep their own hertitage IF IT IS KNOWN..but it is not always known.it can not be..in the event of war or or mass illness where there are massive amounts of orphans, there is no way to trace ancestory..
