I know someone that took their girlfriend on vacation to Paris. She had always wanted to go to Paris and always feared she would never get to go. You see three months earlier she was told she had a brain tumor and she would lose her eye sight in five to six months and less then 24 months to live. He took her to all of the usual tourist sites and on the last day of their trip they went to a fancy restaurant he had the manger have the server deliver her engagement ring with her desert. With a piece of cake she received and extra saucer with a single gold band with a princess cut diamond. He told her a princess cut for his princess.

well, i don't know him personally, but i know how he proposed. it's Frank from My Chemical Romance, just so you know. so on May 25, 2006, he was going to take her to a park where you can see the entire city from in one point in the park. but it was so late at night, the park was closed. so they were just on a dirt road. and he went down on one knee and asked her to marry him. she said yes. now they're married, March 9, 2008. i think that's what happened... idk he said it in an interview.
