  • Christians don't know how to be good Christians. Also, freedom of religion went away when the United States became an undercover theocracy.
  • That's exactly the problem, we canNOT just believe what we want to believe. These stupid arrogant hypocrites who tell homosexuals that they are going to hell are the ones that need a lecture.
  • I completely agree with you, but sadly those condemning as also practicing their freedom of religion :(
  • Freedom of religion is not freedom from religion just as freedom of speech is not freedom from speech. If someone believes that sex outside of marriage is against the moral Law of God then they have the right to discuss their belief with others. Just as others may believe that any sex outside of marriage is completely within the moral Law of God can share their opinion. Both of these individuals can practice their freedoms of religion and speech. If you really believe in freedom of speech then you will even protect the freedom of speech of those whom you completely disagree. If you really believe in freedom of religion then you will even protect the freedom of religion of those whom you completely disagree. The entire world agreed to include freedom of religion in the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights. See Article 2: http://www.un.org/Overview/rights.html The citizens of the United States think this freedom is just as important as the freedoms of speech or the press. All are part of the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution: http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.billofrights.html Even the Catholic Church seeks and supports the freedom of religion for all human beings. In the Vatican II document, Declaration on Religious Freedom, Dignitatis Humanae (Human Dignity), the Church states: The human person has a right to religious freedom. This freedom means that all men are to be immune from coercion on the part of individuals or of social groups and of any human power, in such wise that no one is to be forced to act in a manner contrary to his own beliefs, whether privately or publicly, whether alone or in association with others, within due limits. For the entire document, see: http://www.vatican.va/archive/hist_councils/ii_vatican_council/documents/vat-ii_decl_19651207_dignitatis-humanae_en.html With love in Christ.
  • God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. Besides if homosexuality were right the both sexs would be able to reproduce life.Even nature is against it. Hell is real were there will be eternal torture. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. He can set you free from anything.
  • Because people don't agree with it and they use religion to prove their point.
  • They are bigoted and ignorant. In all of the religions that condemn homosexuality that I am aware of there are also clear teachings of forgiveness and not judging others. Even if you believe that you should keep it to yourself unless asked. I assume you're referring to Christians as I've heard little of other religions going around proclaiming this. Christians who say things like this need to read their bibles a little more and remember Jesus saying things like "He who is without sin cast the first stone." Jesus wasn't talking only of physical judgment but all judgment.
