    Well, I am a student and I sometimes have conversations with people and subconsciously assume thay will know what I'm talking about when I bring in stuff that i've learned... Then I have to go over and explain stuff if they don't understand... Like sociological terms or jargon used in English Lang...

    Heard. We always say "heard" at work to acknowledge that an order is recieved. We also say it when someone tells us something juicy or shocking, to show that we are not shocked or phased, like: "I hope this f'ing place burns down tonight after I leave!"......
