i know a friend of mine whose family treats her horrendously for no apparent reason. she asked them, "why do i deserve this treatment? I've done everything for you, bought the family food, looked after my siblings, and took care of the house and you don't even treat me as if i'm a member of this household." they responded, "you did nothing to deserve this." and continued to treat her terribly. I feel so much sympathy for her.. if I had the money, i'd take her in and help her escape the hell hole she calls home.

Yes. Everyone but my little sister. And unfortunately, she still lives with the insanity. In two years she'll be 18. Hopefully by then my husband and I will have moved into a larger house and we can get her out as well.

yes, i've wanted to before, but i haven't...thankfully my family has started treating each other better and i don't feel that way anymore
