I'm more like my mother because she was able to view thinks in more shades of gray. My father saw everything in terms of black and white. He wasn't very flexible.

Neither. Their opinions and thoughts are so narrowminded and bigoted that I would rather shoot myself than think the way they do.

i'm not exactly like either, but i am similar to my mother. we're both really laid-back chill people. we've always been very good friends because of this - even when i was young and she would find beer or whatever in my room she would laugh and ask if i'd had fun. don't get me wrong, she always looked out for me, but she was of the opinion that i needed to learn things for myself

I tend to learn from flaws of others and hence I am a better person by ignoring the flaws of my parents and picking up the good aspects, hence I am not like them, in other words I am better and I wish I had kids who would definitely have been better than me.
