  • some of those files could be files that help run the iPod.. or firmwire (i think thats the right word... files that are used to update the device..) .. they could also be the files that RUN the device.. like.. an operating system for the iPod.. If you plug it into the computer and are able to explore its contents, they might just be bits of information about the machine.. Best not to get rid of them.. Its like my cellphone.. It says it has 500mb built in.. but when i first got it and deleted everything it came with.. it still had 30mb missing(or taken up).. when i plugged it into the computer to explore.. they were just update files that help run the device.. (before i couldn't play a certain media file.. now it can with the new system download.. it just takes space on my memory card)
