  • I saw it on opening day! :) I LOVED it!!! And YES I think it challenged a lot of the theories, mostly the conventional theories. I really wanna talk more about it but if there are people reading my answer who want to see the movie and haven't yet I don't wanna spoil it for them lol. So I'll try and not give stuff away. But if you've seen the trailer for it with the song 'The Heart of the Matter' (I think that's the name of the song) and it sings 'forgiveness...forgiveness...' that's a foreshadow to some very big events in the movie. And I'm SO glad with how it worked out in the end with that. Cause sometimes the inability to forgive is not about the actual subject of the situation but with the person's own issues. And as shown by the movie, sometimes we have to go beyond ourselves and the 'labels' and 'make our own rules' for both ourselves and our relationships, not always going by what 'should' be according to society's standards. And actions can be forgiven when the person making them truly believes it was a mistake and is completely torn up over it. You sometimes have to look beyond the action and see the result in the person who made it. Annnnnyway :) I loved everything about the movie, from the raucuous laughter, to the shocks, to the heartfelt tears. It had everything. And especially a lot during the middle of the movie during the 'downtime/struggle' (lol I'm trying not to say exactly what it is, I don't wanna spoil). You could really identify with the characters so much, esp Carrie and Miranda. I cannot wait until it comes out on dvd, and I might even go see it again in theatres :) Long live SATC :)
