No, for technology makes us lazy, for look at us, sitting on our tails, typing away, and letting the computer do most of the work. There will always be government and politicians, and deceit is how they butter their bread. Entropy is a universal principle. Evolution is a farce.

maybe once they microchip us, it will be possible to tell if its a lie by way of heart rate monitoring within the micro chip, that will in turn set off an alarm system of sorts, that would be noticable to anyone listening to the lie, instanteouosly picking up on 'the lie ' !!!, and dealing appropriate punishment, who knows what, maybe a fatal dose of toxic chemical or some such LOL

No. There will always be scams that involve liars and cheaters and the advertisers will always lie. Politicans couldn't make it without lying. They never can deliver all they promise. It's not possible.

No. Lying is part of human nature. Some people have a compulsion to lie and will do it no matter what. I think in the future it will be more difficult to get away with lying, but it will continue.

I don't think so, even if we are micro chipped and we get an electric shock when our brain tells the chip we have lied. Us common beings could get by but how about the big fat liars like politics, media and cheaters? Regards.

No. Lying will never stop and let's face it a little white lie to protect someone's feeling is better than the hard truth all the time. And who would want to deprive kids of the magic of Christmas and Santa? Not me for sure and that is a blatant lie.

No, unfortunately. I think lying will become more prevalent, more high-tech and more easily embraced..it is a disease that is contagious! :(

No, there is tendency of people becoming more sophisticated in the art and science of lying. There may even be schools teaching the skill on lying but under the pretext of schools of marketing,politics,art of war,strategies,business reporting etc. Deceiving is part of human nature to option against danger, losses, and for survival. Since time in memorial till this day lies have been with us and have been part of our lives. Remember the story of the Forbidden Apple in Heaven when Eve had to lie to Adam to get to the apple and about the existence of Weapons of mass destructions that Iraq was accused of having !!
