Would anyone here describe themselves as having a melancholy temperament? If so, what does that mean to you personally?

sorta chill all the time. things don't seem to faze me - they do inside, but i don't express it. I like the word meloncholy, i use it a lot

I think it means, easily depressed, not a constant state of depression. I think they worry more and feel badly for things they have no control over. They are quite and don't show many emotions, but still have an active social and family life..Sometimes maybe, they're not much fun to be with.

I've been told that. i'm usually not a loud, outgoing person, i'm mellow and serious a lot, and to some people I seem sad, lol. I admit, I can be moody. I don't think it's necessarily a bad personality trait, just some people are not as naturally happy and cheerful all the time.

I am a quiet and mellow person, but I can get quite angry at times and I am unpredictable, thus I must be very careful with my temper but melancholic never. Regards.
