  • Oh I know your pain so well. I'm 15, nearly 16 and just 5 foot 2". There is every chance you will grow though! I mean, a lot depends on the height of your parents and your lifestyle, but that doesn't mean you will definately never grow again! Most people don't stop growing properly until they are 21, so there's still time. And if you don't you can always wear heels (and if you are a guy, you can wear platforms and say it's a 70's ibe you're going for!) Just sleep lots, eat right and good luck!
  • Kids go through growing spurts, sometimes they don't grow after 15 but some shoot up several inches every couple years, with no visual growth in-between. It really depends on your parents height, if they are shorter, then you probably will not be much taller than them. I heard that running can make a person grow taller, especially from 17- 20 years old. Ask someone on the track team.. they may know about this.
  • You're not short! If you're female 5ft 6 is above average height, and if you're male its only a little below. Either way, you're certainly no midget. Certainly there's a chance you may not grow anymore, but there's also a chance that you will. A male friend of mine shot up by three inches during his seventeenth year so there's definetely every possibility. Either way, I don't think you have much to worry about.
  • With a handle like gunraider, I assume you're a guy, in which case what David Lloyd George said. He was prime minister of Great Britain during World War I, and when a woman met him she involuntarily exclaimed, "Oh! I always thought you were a much taller man!" The PM replied, "Madam, some men are measured from the neck up, and some from the neck down."
  • There is a chance that you might but if not don't go getting down on yourself...Except you for who you are, until you love yourself you will never ever respect yourself or look at yourself in a positive way and that is one of the most important things we can do for ourselves...
  • Some girls can keep growing until their twenties so I guess it just depends. You're not short, you're average. I'm still 5'3. My eleven year old sister is the same height as me. And people assume when they meet me that I'm 16. It's pretty frustrating actually. -.-
  • I'm 19 and just an inch taller than you and I'm able to get dates, play sports, and so on, It's all about confidence, mate. But to answer your question, most people don't stop growing until they around 21, so there's still quite the chance that you will keep growing, at least a bit.
