Does ANYBODY appreciate the humor(?)of the Three Stooges? Something else that a few guys say that ALL the guys like.

I'm a woman and I think it's because the humor is mean-spirited and they're always trying to hurt each other. It's also pretty juvinile.

I feel extremely upset to watch people inflict pain upon each other. It is not funny. Why do you think it is funny to see people hurt each other severly?

Perhaps women who are more nurturing don't appreciate the abusive attempts at physical comedy. But I'm sure there are some women who appreciate it, just as some men do not.

Because they are HURTING each other! It actually used to make me almost sick to watch them when I was a kid. I didn't understand the whole gag thing.
