what goes arround comes arround I am a true believer in that the old saying "do one to others as you want others to do to you" Karma is a bitch and its all in how you treat it:)
-
I don't know..but if you help others simply to advance your growth in life I'm fairly certain it won't count, because you're doing it for yourself and not to be helpful to another. Intent is important in life as far as I'm concerned! :)

No. The laws of kharma remain the same, irrespective of the actions of people. Helping others helps you to improve your kharma through the laws of kharma.
-
Yes.Helping others is known as seva(help, good karma). When you help any one or do any good work, without looking your benefit is known as seva or help.Due to this your karma gets good and all sins get destroyed.By attaining Blessing from doing karma(seva, good help)you gain dhyann(meditation) and then you can feel the bond between you and god.

i dont think that it will give you instant karma, only add positive to the big soup.

Helping others is good for it's own sake. The existence of Karma or any spiritual, or religious belief is unprovable.
-
Karma, or any other spiritual or religious belief may not truly exist. They are all unprovable. Helping others is good for it's own sake.

I am not a student of karma but do believe in it wholeheartedly. And in my experiences you would be there helping them because they themselves paid something forward in order to receive your positive assistance. So in a sense you were fulfilling the destiny of their good deed they had done and on it goes.

Karma in Sanskrit means "action". Laws of Karma is more clearly defined in Buddhism. But the basic truth in life unfolds "cause and effect". Bhagavad Gita, Chapter Three: Karma-yoga says: Everyone must engage in some sort of activity (Karma) in this material world. But actions can either bind one to this world or liberate one from it. By acting for the pleasure of the Supreme (God), without selfish motives, one can be liberated from the law of karma (action and reaction) and attain transcendental knowledge of the self and the Supreme. Helping other without expecting any thing in return will liberate from the laws of karma.

DO YOU HEARD THAT "GOD GIVES AND FORGIVES, BUT PEOPLE GETS AND FORGETS". We all are human beings, it's human nature to help each others for good reasons. It's depending on the person whom you trust, believe, honest, and respect. I have seen lots of selfish people out there, Who never ever helped and help nobody, these people are going to be affect from the laws of karmas?. People say that, humans are created through animal. I think animals are better then the some human beings out there, you know what I mean is?. When you compare to animal? some humans are worst then the animals. There are some good and some bad people out there. Who won't help anybody, it's their KARMA. Who helps with good reasons, it's their DHARMAS. Helping each others to improve our karma through the laws. I believe in "do one to others as you want others to do to you". Helping others is good for it's own sake. Now a days even, we can't believe and trust our own family either, It's our Karma. Sometimes it's true that helping another affects too, because In my own experience I helped a lot but I didn't expect anything from that, but what they did is, trying to take an advantage on me. Now I'm confusing that, whom I have to help or not to help. Only God knows helping is karma or dharma?

doing good is better than doing evil.. Doing anything without attachment to that action is better than doing good actions thinking I will be rewarded, or what a nice person I am... But it is always nice to help others... They say of the 3 coverings of a human psyche, ignorance, non thoughtful action and Goodness, while Goodness is the higher state to be in, You nmay accumalte much karma, it is the hardest covering to escape from when you are trying to reach enlightenment. The casting away of all karma, because it is very easy for us to become attached to doing good actions, to be doing them for our ego.. so please be kind and do good to others always, but always watch for attachment, for erroneous thinking about how good you are, sometimes smitting a man may teach him more about himself than a thousand kind words, but until you are free of karmic reactions, I think it better to be kind!!! Namaste
