There are many other conures you could get but I'd really think long and hard before getting a second bird to add with your conure. If it has been single for awhile, it could resent a new bird and not be happy sharing it's cage and life with a newcomer. They could end up hating each other and then you would have two cages and birds. But if you still want a new one, I'd just choose a difference conure than yours, maybe a sun, for some great color:-)

It is possible for even a different conure species to try & breed. You can have the bird DNA sexed at the vet to check the sex. As said above, think long & hard before deciding, your conure may not accept another bird as a companion at all. If you're certain about doing this then you should have a separate cage available for the new bird so they're not housed together. This will stop the possibility of breeding, stop fights & simply by having the cages close together will give both birds some company.
