Why doesn't God to something to help us lot out? Cure world poverty, stop war ect..? Is he too busy or doesn't he care, or is it that he doesn't like us anymore?

Well Timmeh, let me answer this for you. God does help us out. Everytime you wake up in the morning, everytime you get something to eat, that's Him helping you. We're just so used to these things that we tend to forget about them. Jesus set an example, when he wouldn't make miraculous signs because the gentiles wanted them. Jesus cares about us more than every creation. The bible says (paraphrase), "Look at the birds in the air. They neither sow nor reap yet God feeds them. And those are just birds!." (Message) So take comfort in knowing that God loves you and everything about you.

Maybe he is just trying to see how mankind can do on their own since of what happened with Adam and Eve.

According to some scriptures or spiritual ,non religious writings,we as humans have free will and a deity,whomever one choose,does not interfere with the choices of mankind.

We live in a "fallen" world. He helps us as much as he can. After Adam & Eve, the rules changed as he had warned.

I posted this answer to a simmilar question but I think it can be said again. "On the street I saw a small girl cold and shivering in a thin dress, with little hope of a decent meal. I became angry and said to God why did you permit this? Why don't you do something about it? For awhile God said nothing. That night he replied quite suddenly: I certainly did something about it. I made you." Unknown God wants us to do as much as possible for ourselves. He does helps us though it just that we often don't notice.
